W.I.N.D. (Worship in New Directions)

6:00 pm Dinner & Fellowship ~ 6:45 pm Worship

Are you unable to worship (or attend Sunday School) on Sunday mornings due to work schedules or conflicts?

Do you prefer an "alternative" to traditional worship services?

Do you need an additional time for worship, to "get over the hump" so to speak?

If you said "yes" to any of these questions then W.I.N.D. is for you! Join members and friends on Wednesday evenings for Worship in New Directions, an informal, contemporary experience of small group worship, at 6:45 in Room 201. Prior to worship, a simple family-style dinner and a time of fellowship are offered in the Social Room. All are welcome. Come to nourish your body, mind and soul.

The format of the worship service will vary from week to week; in general, it will be less formal than our Sunday morning services.  On the first Wednesday of each month we will celebrate the sacrament of Communion; on the third Wednesday, we will offer a Contemporary Christian Music service with musicians; on fourth Wednesdays, we will offer a Taize Service, a meditative service with chanted music, based on the tradition of the Taize Community in France.  Special services, such as a healing service, reconciliation service and Blue Christmas service, will be offered as well.
